The Education Policy and Leadership Center is an independent, non-partisan and not-for-profit organization based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The work of the Center focuses on education policy, education leadership, and education advocacy.

The information and activities of the Center are available to policymakers, educators, community leaders and all citizens with an interest in education policy and leadership.

General Assembly Increases Basic Education Funding by $275 Million; Distribution to Districts Based on Costing-Out Study

On July 4, the Pennsylvania General Assembly approved the largest dollar increase – $275 million – for basic education funding in at least two decades and ensured that public education will remain a priority by locking funding targets into law. Click here for a statement from the Campaign.
